Ummm...Hello! (Cuz I *know* I'm gonna hear about it!)

This one's for you, Michelle Knuth!  :)

It's summertime.  Extra activities.  Vacations (not my own...but covering for other people.)  An injured husband.  Wait.  What?  Yeah.  Hubby got hurt at work...tore his menicus in his left knee...5 weeks ago.  Needless to say, it's been a long 5 weeks.  He had surgery last week.  Doing better.  He goes back to work on Tuesday.  Thanks be to God!

In other news, I've been working really hard to getting my act together.  So far, not so good.  But atleast I'm trying.  My life goes back to "normal" next week when Andrew heads back to school.  Less hours at the store.  More time home being a mom.  I really miss that part of my life.  It's nice to have that opportunity again.

I've been doing a little crafting here and there.  I made this fabulous mini album from a kit I bought at a scrapbook store in Hyannis.  Super cute...I'll put pictures from our camping trip a couple of years back.

And last weekend Vanessa & I had the pleasure of taking a class with Cheryl Mezzetti to create this GORGEOUS pumpkin chipboard album:

I was hired to create a custom album for a gentleman in Canton for his wife's 60th birthday.  I'm happy to report that he absolutely loved it!  I hope his wife does too.  Now it's time to get back to my own albums.

I'm glad to hear your husband is doing better--I'm sure this must be tough. Hang in there Christy!

Hi Christy! So glad to hear your husband in on the road to recovery! I am sure that must have been painful!! Your camping album is so cute! Love the pumpkin too, such nice fall colors.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a note about the pumpkins. I would be glad to make you a set and will let you know when they are done.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks girls for your msgs! I'm looking forward to slowing down a bit & getting back to a kind of "normal." If there is such a thing...

Everyday hubby gets better & better. The nights are the worst...around the time just after dinner he can't stand anymore & needs to put his leg up for the rest of the night & ice it. He hits the "wall of I'm done." But every morning he gets up & gets going. No more knee pain...just sore & pain from the sugery.

Looks like the weekend will be perfect weather! Hope you enjoy!
